“…When I first visited Sarah’s studio, her uplifting energy for painting and passion for recapturing memories from her past was very evident, so it’s impressive and inspiring to recognise that same spirit so clearly in her work. Her paintings feel joyous and alive…”

Commissions and Workshops

Commissions are a large part of my work and a wonderful opportunity to work with clients. We spend time understanding what the client is looking for and produce sketches to agree on the direction of the finished piece. There is nothing more exciting than installing the artwork in the home after several studio visits. To find out more contact me here.

Workshops are also important and so much fun, allowing me to help guide artists through the mindset and practice of developing their art. To find out more you can contact me here.

Meet the Artist…

Hi, I’m Sarah, welcome! Some quick facts…

1. I have lived overseas in Asia, Australia and Europe. You can imagine the inspiration - from the tea plantations in Thailand to the English landscape.

2. Returning to the UK I now live in Bristol, a fantastic place to develop an art practice. Home of Banksy, Upfest (street art), and many artists, the city has a strong focus on the Arts.

3. My work explores the differences and similarities between cultures and landscapes in the East and West. These experiences translate through patterns, colour, lines, and layers of oil, acrylic, or watercolour.

4. As an artist passionate about protecting our planet I try to recycle and be mindful of how I use and dispose of art materials.

5. Within weeks of returning to the UK I volunteered for Saatchi at the Affordable Art Fair and the Arnolfini (the Greyson Perry Exhibition) to find out more about the local art scene. Working as admin. and social media for North Somerset Arts also opened up insights into arts funding and community arts in the UK. I am always so appreciative of the many art groups and galleries who I work with. You can’t do this alone :)

6. I have always loved sharing what I do and helping others through art and creativity. Workshops and commissions, in particular, are always exciting.
