This painting captures the tropical rainforest colour of flora and fauna with a contemporary twist. This is one of a pair or sold separately but you will notice that they are reversed and ‘address’ each other. The palm trees and leaves are spray painted using specially hand-cut stencils, a feature in my recent work, creating differences between form and layers.

The series raises awareness of the need for the protection of the rainforest. The bright cobalt is manmade signifying the human relationship and effect on this invaluable ecosystem. A percentage of sales received by the artist will be donated to the Rainforest Trust which helps in research and the protection of rainforests across the world.
