Chasing the Sun
Chasing the Sun
OK so I will own up that the English weather was one of many driving forces which prompted me to move overseas (apart from the fabulous opportunities for an architect in Hong King at the time) so when I look at seascapes now I see them in a different ‘light’ always searching for the brighter colours and the whiter sand which I experienced in Australia and Asia. I am sure that as you travel you see this too. However,I can honestly say that the English coastline is mostly quite beautiful, especially as the clouds drift over the Atlantic and the sun suddenly appears on a summers day. I have been searching for this feeling here, through this painting.
