Without warning a tropical storm advances and the heavens open! Warm summers rain cools and brings a fresh breeze. Imagine the lush greens of tropical hibiscus, reds and yellows of bird of paradise and pale pinks of native orchids. The materials I use of mixed media allow me to create layers of colour on the canvas which tells a story. This can take many weeks to adjust and combine, each layer filled with words, thoughts to try to convey to you how it feels to have this experience.
