This new series is called ‘One World’. We are all under one sky and, personally, we have found that so many have similar people fundamentally have similar hopes and dreams. Of course this is a rather simplistic view and we can’t generalise but take a minute to think about it...

Living overseas was such a privilege; to watch and participate in local customs and traditions, to visit and explore, travelling away from the tourist track into the far north of Laos and Vietnam or northern Australia. Yes we were privileged foreigners but we never took this for granted and I believe in helping wherever possible. Although, for now, everything is opening up in the UK, many people around the world. such as in Asia and Africa. are still suffering in terrible conditions. If you would like to help I will be making a donation based on the sales of this series to the UNICEF Covid-19 Appeal.

The resources needed to attend an Art Fair are significant. This is the first UK Art Fair for me and I am thrilled to be taking part. My first forays into the world of Art Fairs as a participant began in Switzerland in 2006 with the E. Expo in Basel Conference Centre. This was an amazing building with huge chandeliers in a vast exhibition area. I used to frame up all my hand drawn watercolours of Basel, load up the car at dawn and exhibit in the Basel Conference Centre each year. It was here that I met a gallery owner and became their Artist in Residence in central Basel. These events are a fantastic place to meet fellow exhibitors, galleries and collectors alike so I am very much looking forward to the Bath Art Fair.
