New Exhibition at the Sanctuary Gallery, Newnham 4th Nov - 24th Dec 2022

After working abroad solo on my art it has been great to find several art groups in the UK which have proved supportive and a brilliant resource for artists. This exhibition features work from our studio pod, part of Alice Sheridan’s Connected Artist Club, which grew and bonded through lockdown and many Zoom sessions. The exhibition ‘Solstice’ runs from the 4th November to the 24th December 2022 at The Sanctuary Studio & Gallery, Newnham, GL14 1BB.

Exploring the southwest of England and creating sketches and watercolours along the way is a major source of inspiration and the artwork is, in part, an exploration and discovery of a sense of place, of identity and a search for belonging.

This work has been inspired by the walks and hikes along the Cotswold Way and in the South West UK. Using marks and paint I have been searching for an idea of identity and belonging.
