The title, Still I Rise, is taken from the fabulous Maya Angelou poem of the same name and has been a huge inspiration in recent years. If you don’t know it please look it up - just fabulous!

This painting depicts a rainforest scene with the mist shrouding the trees in the horizon. Whilst I was painting this I was thinking of all the times I have been lucky enough to visit these beautiful places.
